Developing an Economic Model for Beach Clubs in Bali's Hospitality Industry

Services Provided: Economic Model

The Challenge

A leading Jakarta-based Indonesia Fund engaged CSA for due diligence on the potential acquisition of a hospitality group in Bali, focusing on assessing the economic model viability.

Our Solution

Our Approach was to assess the current performance of the existing beach clubs and forecast future box economics and development potential in Bali and overseas markets.

1 Month Project involved the following activities:

  • Assessment of Founder and Top Management capability and experience and the interactions between them.

  • Review of operating and reporting systems as well as existing economics.

  • Analysis of trade area development potential in Bali.

  • Analysis of trade area potential in key overseas markets.

  • Review of concept potential for non beach club restaurant assets.

Results

The Fund decided to make the investment based on weighing all risks and potential upsides. A new luxury hotel has already opened and several more beach clubs are planned in both Bali and overseas markets.
